I just want to thank Dr Sternberg for being so great and to spread awareness for others who are also going through the same uncomfortable experience we call ‘pilonidal’.

After having my first pilonidal surgery a couple years back I seemed to be ok for a year to only have it come back at the worst time possible. Being in the middle of a pandemic and having to suffer through this was the worst. I knew that I was going to have to get surgery again but I was so skeptical of choosing a surgeon because I did not want to relive this experience again. I have read some horrific stories of patients having multiple failed surgeries from other doctors and wanted to make sure I didn’t go through that.

After doing a ton of research I found Dr. Sternberg online and he seemed to be the most promising. I was looking for someone that I can count on and who knows what they are doing.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision of going to Dr. Sternberg. I live in San Diego so I had to fly out to San Francisco but it was 100% worth it. I was at the point where I was willing to do whatever it takes to find someone who could get this done. I am now on my way to a full recovery and I haven’t felt this great in a while all thanks to Dr. Sternberg and his staff. I am forever grateful to them and would highly recommend them without hesitation. Thank you guys!!
