Surgical Coordinator and Medical Assistant
Saoirse (“Ser-Shah”) is a San Francisco native and is passionate about improving the lives of others through healthcare services. She currently attends Dominican University where she majors in Public Health and minors in Leadership. Upon graduation in May, Saoirse plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatrics or NICU. Saoirse has had the opportunity to present at the APHA (American Public Health Association) Conference in 2020 and when not working at TSC, she works as a research assistant or can be found hiking or snowboarding.

Emon joined TSC several months after the practice opened and helps to coordinate the front desk and work as a medical assistant (she is a certified Medical Assistant). Emon has over 20 years of experience in the medical field and understands patient concerns. She is a Bay Area native and has raised her family here.

Cassie has been in the medical field for 20 years, 18 of which has been in billing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice but found that the medical field is where her passion lies. She also is a sports mom to 3 kids, traveling to many weekend sporting events, and spending time with her family.

A San Francisco native, Eduardo is a huge Giants and 49ers fan. He recently graduated from SF State and aspires to go to medical school. Eduardo is serving as a research assistant gathering data on TSC’s pilonidal patients.
Videographer and technical consultant
Alexander has a passion for creating and editing videos and graduated from George Fox University where he earned several film festival a wards. He is a San Francisco native and when not working at TSC he’s staffing downtown conventions.
Freelance Web Producer
Matt is a freelance writer, illustrator, and web producer who manages the website for The Sternberg Clinic. Matt is also an alum of The Sternberg Clinic. His experience as a patient of Dr. Jeffrey Sternberg inspired him to give back to the community by building an information hub with the most accurate information about Pilonidal Disease to inform patients, their family members, and the medical community.
After many years performing major abdominal operations including open and laparoscopic resections for colon cancer, rectal cancer, Crohn’s disease, and Ulcerative colitis, I have chosen to concentrate my efforts in a few highly specialized areas of surgery where I feel I can make the greatest positive impact on patients.
