I cannot say enough praise for Dr. Sternberg and his team.

My son has suffered from Pilonidal Disease for five years, since he was 17 years old. He had endured three surgeries which required years of “healing” from top wound care centers in our home state of Tennessee only to have the problem return. He was scheduled to have “more of the same” surgery when he found Dr. Sternberg and his effective technique for treating this disease. We immediately got on the books for a surgery and flew out to San Francisco.

Dr. Sternberg and his team were efficient and reassuring. When we got home post surgery, Dr. Sternberg continued to communicate with us and to reassure us that everything would be OK.

We are seven weeks post-op today and he has healed great, and gotten clearance to “return to normal activity”. We weren’t even sure what “normal activity” was anymore as he hasn’t been able to do that in so long. His quality of life has improved immensely. It is the first time in years that he has not had to wear some type of wound care bandage. We could not be more thrilled with Dr. Sternberg, the surgery center he uses, and his staff! I prayed for years for my son to be healed, and Dr. Sternberg was the answer.
