Amaya brings a deep-rooted passion for healthcare. With a background as an EMT and nursing assistant, Amaya enjoys providing compassionate and effective patient care. Amaya has earned a B.S in Bio-psychology from UCSB and hopes to become a Physician Assistant (PA). Born and raised in the coastal community of Santa Cruz, Amaya loves nature and outdoor sports including soccer, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, and exploring the beauty and hills of San Francisco, accompanied by her beloved dog. Amaya is thrilled to bring her skills and enthusiasm to The Sternberg Clinic. With her role as Medical Office Coordinator, she is here to connect with you.

Madison Luzar
Medical and Administrative Assistant
As The Sternberg Clinic’s Medical and Administrative Assistant, Madison is thrilled to support the team in providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and to advocate for you to get the care you deserve. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular Environmental Biology and a minor in Global Poverty and Practice, Madison was determined to make a difference in the world by reducing the suffering of others. She worked for years in the fields of climate justice, labor, and public health advocacy, but over time could not ignore her passion for working directly with people. She is excited to join The Sternberg Clinic to stand up for the many patients suffering from this widely misunderstood and poorly treated disease. Outside of working at the clinic, Madison enjoys hosting competitive mahjong parties, collecting stickers from the many public libraries around the city, and losing volleyball games with her friends.

Jordan R. Salahi heads the billing team for The Sternberg Clinic with a team of 12 certified coders and revenue cycle management representatives, whom have over 30 years’ experience in insurance claim submission and management.
