When I first came across Dr. Sternberg’s website, I had undergone three prior surgeries for my pilonidal disease.

Each surgery was a challenging and traumatic experience for my body, and with each surgery I saw the post-operative healing process turn into a nightmare, as my disease recurred. While I understand for those outside the SF area (such as myself) it may be daunting to travel a long way for this surgery, I can personally say that I wish I had had Dr. Sternberg for my first surgery — in the end it would have saved me many resources in terms of time and finances; but even with having him perform my fourth and final surgery, I ultimately found his expertise to be the determining factor in curing me of my disease, and that was more than worth the cost!

It’s now been over 2 years since I had my surgery with Dr. Sternberg — I am able to easily play sports, hike, travel, and study at my desk for long periods of time. Dr. Sternberg’s skills have made it possible for me to get my life back and do all the things I enjoy in my life. You deserve to have that chance, too!
